Unleash the Inventor In You at Maker Faire New York

Imagine a place with an electric current going through the air, where people gather to share the stories of how they programmed and built their own unique creations. This sensational experience can only be had at a Maker Faire, like the one taking place right in the heart of New York City this month.

Makeblock has decided to join in on the creative fun and participate in Maker Faire New York to help Unleash the Inventor Inside You. Unleashing your inventor means that rather than being a consumer of technology, you can be a maker of technology. Given the right tools and inspiration, anyone has the potential to change the world.

At this event we are going to be showcasing a variety of products, including Airblock. Airblock is a unique modular and programmable drone that can be turned into a hovercraft and used as a foundation for many of your DIY projects. It is the starter drone that introduces users to basic engineering and programming by allowing users to build a drone within seconds and without the need for tools.

Another product we are going to be featuring at our booth is Makeblock Neuron. This electronic building block platform can be used to create smart multifunctional electronic devices. Paired with its intuitive flow-based programming application, makers of all programming levels can build innovative gadgets with ease, turning their creative ideas into reality.

That’s not all. Our great Maker-friend Andy of Andy’s Tech Garage will do a one-hour guest presentation covering his wide-ranging mBot projects. We are also planning an exclusive giveaway at the Faire! Catch the show and find out what the prize is by visiting our booth. We hope to see you there!
