Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha Praises Makeblock at the EEC Innovation Youth Camp

On November 22, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha visited Makeblock’s booth and highly praised Makeblock for its contribution to Thailand’s youth in science and technology innovation education at the EEC Innovation Youth Camp, the largest robotics education event in Thailand.

With the theme of “How to Understand the Future of the World”, this year’s EEC Youth Camp includes robotics, gaming technology and aerospace technology combined with anime, aims to help young people in Thailand learn from and get to know more about different fields of Technology, increase young people’s scientific and technological knowledge and develop their sense of innovation.

On the day of the event, there were more than 1,000 students participated in the EEC Youth Innovation Camp. Makeblock’s local Thai partner provided training and teaching in a systematic way for them through the technology of robotics education, in order to help them understand and learn the relevant knowledge of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), and make better use of digital skills and interdisciplinary knowledge for innovation.

This is the second time that Thai Prime Minister has spoken highly of Makeblock. In July this year, at the robot programming event of the Thailand government building, Thai Prime Minister also praised Makeblock’s mBot programming educational robot, by virtue of its low-threshold learning programming concept, high scalability and sophisticated design.
