Makeblock Invites Visitors to Pursue New Horizons at IFA Berlin 2017

Makeblock is excited to announce its attendance at IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany, during September 1-6th. Displayed on-site for visitors to experience will be Airblock, our programmable and transformable drone, together with Makeblock Neuron, our electronic building block platform, and a familiar face – mBot. We are also previewing two new projects for the first time: Coding Panda and Make x Art.

Makeblock is at IFA 2017 with a purpose: to celebrate a new era of learning. We believe that learning is best done by exploring our interests, pursuing our passions and by testing our limits. Learning means doing something we’ve never done before and adding to what we know – to broaden our horizons. There is no better way to learn than by doing. To have an idea, to build it, to program it, and see the result with our own eyes.

Makeblock’s mission is to create a new way of learning through easy-to-use robotics and electronics kits, so that students can explore their creativity, learn problem solving skills and build an interest for science and technology – and have an enormous amount of fun at the same time! Examples of just how fun and creative robotics can be, are the Coding Panda and Make x Art projects that we are debuting at the fair.

We will give a talk on just how robotics is shaping the future of education as part of IFA’s Next Innovation Engine platform on September 2nd. For those not able to join us in Berlin but still eager to be part of the future of STEM education we have a special IFA 2017 Lucky Draw where prizes include no less than our headline product Airblock, and the familiar mBot!
