Makeblock New Products of July

In July, we have designed some new products both electronic and mechanical parts. And all of these new parts will be on sale soon.

New electronic modules:

1. Me-Stepper Driver

Me-Stepper Driver is designed to driver the stepper motor. It is an easier stepper motor driver with Allegro’s A4988 DMOS Microstepping Driver and an Arduino Nano on board. By using the A4988, Me-Stepper Driver can drive up to 2A per phase of bi-polar steppermotor. The on board Arduino Nano has become the main controller of the stepper motor. Users can use an Arduino board to control the on board Arduino Nano by I2C communication protocol. We also provide an Arduino library that contains different kinds of control interfaces including an accelerate and decelerate algorithm. Programming and controlling may be easier now. Wring is easy, just connect the board to Me-Base Shield on Port 1 or Port2 and connect the stepper motor to the 4 pin connector on board. Then you can control the stepper motor easily by sending the control command from the Arduino board under Me-Base Shield.

2. Me-String Lights Driver

Me-String Lights Driver is designed to drive the string lights. With an Arduino Nano on board, it can drive the string lights easily. Users can use an Arduino board to control the on board Arduino Nano by I2C communication protocol. We also provide an Arduino library that contains different kinds of control interfaces of the string lights.. Programming and controlling may be very easy now, and you can controll the string lights at any way you like. Wring is easy too, just connect the board to Me-Base Shield on Port 1 or Port2 and connect the string lights to the 3 pin connector on board. Then you can control the string lights easily by sending the control command from the Arduino board under Me-Base Shield.

3. Me-Encoder Motor Driver

Me-Encoder Motor Driver is designed to driver the encoder motor, and it can drive two encoder motors. It also have an Arduino Nano on board, and the controlling of the encoder motor has becom easier by using the Arduino Nano. Users can use an Arduino board to control the on board Arduino Nano by I2C communication protocol. We also provide an Arduino library that contains different kinds of control interfaces. Programming and controlling may be easier now. Wring is easy, just connect the board to Me-Base Shield on Port 1 or Port2 and connect the encoder motor to the 6 pin connector on board. Then you can control the stepper motor easily by sending the control command from the Arduino board under Me-Base Shield. This module is still in testing, and a more detailed artical about it will be published after the testing.

New mechanical parts:

1. Part with long holes

This kind of parts is designed for the rotary motion into a reciprocating or oscillating. You can see more details here.

2. Cardan Joint

Cardan joint is a joint or coupling in a rigid rod that allows the rod to ‘bend’ in any direction, and is commonly used in shafts that transmit rotary motion. You can see more details here.

3. Flexiblecoupling

The flexiblecoupling is designed to transmit torque from one shaft to another when the two shafts are slightly misaligned. You can see more details here.

4.Chassis for mini car

The chassis for mini car is easy and cheap for enthusiast to learn arduino,also,it can transform to another style. You can see more details here.

5. Rod ends

The rod ends can bear radial load, axial load or along the radial, axial union load.we always used for low speed swinging movement, also can be in a certain Angle range for tilting movement.This Rod ends hole is 4 mm for better used in Makeblock. You can see more details here.

6. Slider on D8 Sliding pole

We have designed a new slider, for the using on D8 Sliding pole. You can see more details here.

7. Plate 7×9

We bring back the Plate 7×9 and it will be on sale again soon.

8. Connection piece

We have designed some connection pieces for the connecting of the mechanical parts. You can see more details about these pieces here.

9. Screw drive mechanism

Use this mechanism we can obtain a larger force and we can use it to Grip objects. You can see more details here.

10. A new bracket

With this new part we can have more angled mode. You can see more details here.

11. Torsion spring

12. Compression spring
