Looking Back at Maker Faire New York

From the fire breathing dragons to the DIY fans, Makeblock had an awesome time at Maker Faire New York. On a warm September weekend Makeblock joined in on the fun by talking to attendees about products as well as have a few special guests do demonstrations of their Makeblock creations at our booth.

At Makeblock’s booth, attendees were most animated by Airblock, our one of a kind programmable and transformable drone. It’s ability to trek on land and gilde though the air makes Airblock a exemplary drone for a home and classroom setting. Controlling and coding the drone could never be easier with the Makeblock app.

We also had a special guest at our booth, namely Andy from Andy’s Teach Garage and his sister Eva. Both Andy and Eva made Makeblock’s booth livelier and more fun by attracting curious attendees with their impressive creations.

During this faire, we also had a drawing to win an mBot. With over 200 participants, the lucky winner was Linda W. from Brooklyn, New York. She was able to show her seventh graders how to assemble mBot and the cool coding features it has. Thank you for everyone participating in the drawing!
